Link Building with the Right Partners!

As you may or may not know, Link building is an important step in the overall SEO process.  Search engines check the number and quality of incoming links to your website.  This is yet another factor that Search Engine Search Engines make use of to determine the rank of a webpage. It is, therefore, important to have as many links coming in to as many of your web pages as possible. By having many inbound links, this tells the search engines that you have interesting content that people are looking for. One way to accomplish this is to seek out potential partners to exchange links with you, better known as "Reciprocal Linking".  You link to their site and in turn they link to your site. 

However, having most of the links coming to your home page is also perceived, by the search engines, as a shallow site with probably less value. So, link deep into many of your web pages to increase their value and rank. Now consider this; you can go out and build a large list of backlinks to your site, get them through many pages to assure you are not too shallow, but you dont see a whole lot of increase in regards to your performance in the search engines!  Did you choose the right link partners?  Meaning, take the time to check out the ranking score of the potential link partner site before you ask them for a backlink. For example, Google ranks all site on a scale of 1 to 10 with a minimum of 4 usually being satisfactory.  So, go for partners that have page rankings of 4 or greater!  You shouldnt become partners with just any site withough first taking the time to check them out.  Good luck!
